Thomas J. Vucinic

Tom Vucinic is President of Becker Professional Education of DeVry Inc., a publicly-held, global provider of educational services.

Vucinic joined DeVry in 1996 as Director of Financial Planning. He was named General Manager of Becker in 1998 and was promoted to President in 2004. Vucinic is a senior faculty member of Keller Graduate School of Management, and in that capacity has taught accounting since 1976.

Prior to Becker, Vucinic served as Executive Vice President of Otis Company, a real estate development firm.  In addition, his previous experience includes serving as an audit manager at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Chicago.

Vucinic serves on the International Advisory Forum of Beta Alpha Psi, an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals. He is also an officer of the American Professionals Accounting Certifications Providers Association, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois CPA Society.

Vucinic graduated in 1969 from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Illinois.
