Gregory S. Davis is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for DeVry Inc.

These institutions offer a wide array of programs in business, healthcare and technology and serve students in secondary through postsecondary education as well as accounting and finance professionals.

Davis joined DeVry in 2007, bringing to the organization extensive experience and expertise in litigation, mergers and acquisitions, governance, compliance, securities, and labor and employment.

Prior to joining DeVry, Davis was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of LaPetite Academy, Inc., from 2003 to 2007, which operated nearly 650 schools offering education and care to children ages 6 months to 12 years. Prior to that, Davis was a partner at Andersen Worldwide from 1991 to 2002, first in a legal capacity and later in a business role focused on the global firm’s acquisitions and alliances.

Davis earned his J.D. and graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law in 1987.  He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Indiana University in 1984.
