Donna Jennings is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for DeVry Inc.

DeVry's purpose is to empower its students to achieve their educational and career goals. DeVry (NYSE: DV, member S&P 500 Index) is a global provider of educational services and the parent organization of Advanced Academics, Becker Professional Education, the Carrington Colleges, Chamberlain College of Nursing, DeVry Brasil, DeVry University, and Ross University Schools of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. These institutions offer a wide array of programs in business, healthcare and technology and serve students in secondary through postsecondary education as well as accounting and finance professionals.

Jennings joined DeVry in 2006 as Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for the development and execution of Human Resources policy and strategy.  Her role later evolved into Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Prior to joining DeVry, Ms. Jennings was Vice President of Human Resources and Communications for Velsicol Chemical Corporation, a global chemical products manufacturer, from 1994 to 2006.  In this position, she created the organization’s first succession planning and organizational development process, developed a competitive compensation philosophy and structure, introduced successful cost management strategies into the benefits program and led the company through 14 years of successful relationship building and contract negotiations with two labor unions. Jennings was also responsible for internal and external communications strategies and managed several major public relations issues for the company.

Prior to Velsicol, Jennings held communications positions with Enron Chemical and the National Advertising Services division of 3M.

Jennings graduated in 1983 from Columbia College with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and did her graduate level studies at DePaul University.
