Jeffrey A. Elliott is President and CEO of Advanced Academics.

Advanced Academics a leader in the field of online learning, partners with schools and districts in more than 30 states across the country to offer a customized online solution that uniquely serves each customer.  Advanced Academics’ programs have proven to be extremely successful in providing flexible learning opportunities for students in grades 6 through 12 and increasing overall academic performance.  Since 2000, Advanced Academics has offered comprehensive middle and high school courses, highly-qualified and state-certified teachers, and a web-based learning management system that enhances student learning.  A subsidiary of DeVry Inc. (NYSE:DV), Advanced Academics is accredited by The Commission of International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA) and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and meets the standards of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). 

Elliott joined Advanced Academics in 2002 serving as Chief Operating Officer until September 2003 when he was named President and Chief Executive Officer.   From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Elliott was with Seattle-based Wright Group, a leading educational publishing company, where he served as Vice President of Business Development overseeing three of its divisions.  While at Wright Group, he successfully integrated and managed international acquisitions, including publishing operations in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

In 1996, Elliott joined the newly formed Tribune Education Company as Director of Strategic Planning and Development. He was responsible for the company's strategic planning as well as identifying and executing acquisitions and joint ventures.  From 1983 to 1996 Elliott rose through the ranks at the Chicago Tribune Company in a variety of management roles. 

Elliott is a graduate of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
