William Hughson is President of the Healthcare Group at DeVry Inc.

These institutions offer a wide array of programs in business, healthcare and technology and serve students in secondary through postsecondary education as well as accounting and finance professionals.
Hughson joined DeVry in 2009 as president of the Healthcare Group, which includes American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Carrington College, Carrington College California, Chamberlain College of Nursing, Ross University School of Medicine and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Hughson joined DeVry from DaVita Inc., a leading provider of dialysis services in the United States. At DaVita, he managed a wide number of business units including co-founding DaVita at Home, and founding DaVita Rx. Prior to that, he headed A.G. Ferrari Foods from 1997-1999 and Noah’s New York Bagels from 1992 - 1996. Hughson began his career in the Capital Markets Division of Morgan Stanley and in the healthcare group of Bain & Company.
He received his bachelor’s degree cum laude in English from Williams College and his Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
